Christ follower, husband, and father! I love spending time outdoors: running, backpacking, fishing, hunting, metal detecting!

I originally grew up in Waco, TX and moved to Dallas to attend Dallas Baptist University where I met my beautiful wife Leslie.  We have 3 beautiful children Levi, Daniel, & Abigail.

Life is a journey filled with beautiful mountaintop experiences as well as times in the valley.  As much as I love the mountaintop experiences, the times in the valley are where I've grown closer to God and heard him the clearest.  My life is much like a painting filled with a mirage of colors... the bright vibrant colors are mixed perfectly with the darker and gloomier ones.  When God is done painting my life, I hope His canvas of my life is a beautiful masterpiece.  True art isn't very beautiful if it is just one bright color...but rather a complicated mixture of color and emotions.
